QuakeAlert will notify you (visually on the app or audibly for the in-home/office alarm) with a countdown to when the shaking will start based on your location along with how intense (Intensity) the shaking will be. The app also includes tips on what to do if you are indoors, outdoors, or in a moving vehicle.

All QuakeAlert products operate much the same way. The App and In-Home/Office device will:

Play an Emergency Alert Tone
Notify you how “Intense” the shaking will be (light, medium, heavy, etc)
Give you a countdown as to when the actual shaking will start.
