The Philippine Department of Tourism would like to assure tourists and visitors that travel-related establishments, such as hotels, resorts, spas, restaurants, shopping centers and transportation services in the major tourist destinations around the country remain open for business. Airline services have likewise assumed their regular flight schedules.

In a weather advisory released this morning, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said that Typhoon Frank (international name: Typhoon Fengshen) has moved away from the Philippines towards the direction of Southern China. Some parts of the country are expected to experience mild rainshowers and cloudy skies in the next few days.
